Jen is the epitome of a spiritual warrior – strong, gentle, in tune with her divinity and always open and ready for the adventure of life.
Jen is fiercely dedicated to helping you embody your divinity, access your inner flame and full-step into your calling through intuition, listening to your body and utilizing techniques, new and old, so you can live a life full alive – or as she has coined it, ‘Shaktified’!
She helps others to learn how to listen to their needs and internal landscapes regardless of the external situation, recognize the divine path that we, most of the time, have already identified, and open ourselves up to the path of alignment, healing, and success.
I am truly inspired and honored to have Jen a part of the Shift Series. I know you will find her path to divinity, amongst the struggle and adventure of life, into the art of surrender and ending in truth, healing and vulnerability as interesting and inspirational as I have.

What is your philosophy on healing or overcoming health challenges.
My philosophy is that when the body comes into state of illness, injury or dis-ease, it is a signal from the soul that something is in need of deep transformation and healing. I believe it is a sign to wake up, listen in, and be willing to ask the hard questions of why the body is speaking so loud.
Often- we already know the answer of what needs to change- you need to quit the job, you need to move, maybe the relationship is over or you need to finally tell someone what happened to you in the past. But at times the answer could be buried so deep we don’t even know where to start. When the body is speaking loudly and nothing seems to be working to overcome the challenges, there are many healers who can help facilitate the process and help us see what we can’t even see ourselves.
By being willing to ask these questions and listen for the answers, we open the door to healing the body and overcoming the lessons she is offering to us in the healing.
How have you used adversity in your life to fuel your commitment to balance and wellness?
It often feels like I came to this lifetime to be a spiritual warrior in a lot of ways- being able to take a bad or tricky situation, and find the gold at the end of the journey for being willing to face the adversity presented. How I’ve chosen to look at adversity is this: when it arises, we must first honor the feeling and state that it brings us. Let out the anger. Honor the frustration. Have a few great ugly cries- or many. Allow this to move through your body so that your body does not hold on to it.
Then take a look- what is this teaching me? What is it pointing out that needs to be addresses or may be a blind spot? Has this happened before? What is the pattern? By opening our hearts to be willing to ask these questions, we find the lessons and the healing potential in the situation. Perhaps the lesson is allowing yourself to be vulnerable and receive the help that you need. And often times, that is enough to bring balance back and
recommit to wellness.
How do you stay healthy, resilient and vibrant?
I have consistent daily practices, as well as a strong spiritual practices in the tradition that calls to me. I meditate daily, move my body in some way, chant, contemplate and most importantly- I celebrate every day. I believe this is the key to staying healthy and vibrant- celebrating all that life has to offer every single day unlocks miracles and magic in so many ways!
What tips do you recommend for your clients dealing with / healing from illness?
My biggest tip is to not go about it alone. There is so much help out there beyond traditional medicine, and sometimes the best medicine of all is to talk about it, express your emotions about what is happening, be vulnerable with the people who love you, and be open to any and all help that is offered. Opening up to receive help is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
If there was only one thing a person could find the energy and resources to make a priority what would it be?
Finding a healer, therapist or other medium to be able to fully express yourself and be held in a sacred space for your healing.
What is your favorite inspirational quote for healing?
“Our goal should be to live life in radical amazement. ….get up in the morning and look at the world in a way that takes nothing for granted. Everything is phenomenal; everything is incredible; never treat life casually. To be spiritual is to be amazed.”
