Seduction As A Spiritual Practice
Q. Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Kitty Cavalier. I teach the art of seduction as a tool and an energy that can be used in every area of our lives, not just love and sex. I believe that seduction is truly a spiritual practice. The energy of desire and attraction is a way that the divine works through us. When we feel desire for something body, mind and soul, that yearning is not a frivolous impulse, it is often something greater than us pulling us toward an experience that puts one more piece in the puzzle of our spiritual completeness. I believe that everyone possesses the power of seduction, that it is not something reserved for smooth talkers and pretty faces. Seduction is an inside job!
Q. Tell us about your path to creating your business and your vision
I created my business out of a desire to see the archetype of the seductress restored to it’s true nature: the ultimate empowered woman; the first feminist. Seductresses were rule breakers and changemakers. They did not allow a societal constraints to keep them from living a life of pleasure, delight and intellectual stimulation.
While we have come a long way in empowering the feminine economically and socially, erotic empowerment is still and area where we often feel inept or do not realize our own power. Restoring the seductress in every woman is a way of living our legend to it’s fullest degree.
Q. Tell us a little about yourself and your philosophy on wellness:
My philosophy on wellness is something I learned from my friend Rochelle Schieck, founder of Qoya: if it feels good, that is how you know you are doing it right. What that means to me is that wellness is not about following a regimen, it is about following our intuition. Sometimes that means kale, sometimes in means a cheeseburger. I believe that the more we trust in our body the more attuned we become to the feeling of wellness. The deeper we know that sensation, the more wellness we are inspired to create.
Q. What was the catalyst in your life to fuel your commitment to wellness?
Coming to a place of surrender around my attitude towards my body. I had tried everything to try to change her and make her more like what I though she “should” be. When I just decided to love what is, everything changed.
Q. How do you stay healthy, resilient and vibrant?
I go for my sensual fulfillment every moment of every day. I let my senses be my guide in everything. My body leads, I follow. I have a ridiculous capacity for and commitment to fun.
Q. If there was only one thing a person could find the energy and resources to make a priority what would it be?
Sensual pleasure every day!
Q. What is your favorite inspirational quote for wellness / awesomeness / thrival?
“When I’m good I’m very good, but when I’m bad I’m better.” Mae West
