Kathleen Bloom

One of my favorite “jobs” as a steward of Chronic Wellness is introducing you to amazing experts in their field. Kathleen Bloom is one of those experts: she is like a sister, best friend, and intuitive powerhouse all wrapped into one. I’ve been working with Kathleen personally and am honored to have her join us as the first member of our “Resident Wellness Expert Panel.” In this Shift Series interview we delve into questions of activating our inner guidance system and tools for awakening the intuitive spark within. Enjoy!

Lindsay and Kathleen talk about finding your inner guidance.

Finding Inner Guidance

Q: Tell us a little about yourself

I follow my intuition completely!  Ask my 3 daughters and my husband and they will tell you that I am continuously reminding them to listen, trust and follow their intuition.

Movement and Stillness are my expressions for developing awareness. Years of martial arts training has resulted in my second degree black belt and believe me, that comes with plenty of movement and awareness. Rising early in the morning for my daily meditation practice creates the opportunity for stillness and deep intuitive awareness.

I love to laugh.

Q: Tell us about your path to creating your business and your vision

We all have a gift to share with the world and it is essential to bring it out for others to experience. I am blessed to be of service to people all over the globe helping them get clarity, make decisions and take confident action.

It started through my own path of committing to meditation practice and trusting my intuition completely. The path for tapping into the deepest intuition is daily meditation.

It became apparent that others needed the support, instruction and encouragement of daily meditation and deep intuitive insight – the natural outcome was creating an international service of intuition consulting and coaching to empower people to get clarity, move forward and live vibrantly.

Q: Tell us a little about yourself and your philosophy on wellness:

Wellness comes from recognizing the blessings already in your life. It is delightful to nourish, exercise, meditate, create, love and laugh. On the days when all of those things don’t happen (and a few days when none of those things happen – ouch!) I can always, always still count my blessings and that opens my life to increased wellness.

Q: What was the catalyst in your life to fuel your commitment to wellness?

The joy and delight of life feeds my commitment to wellness. It feels good to feel good and I can best create that through giving thanks, laughing, moving my body and forgiving myself and others.

Q: How do you stay healthy, resilient and vibrant?

Dance, sing and laugh.

Q: If there was only one thing a person could find the energy and resources to make a priority what would it be?

Gratitude. There was a time many years ago when I could not figure out my next step in life. I was filled with distress and uncertainty. When I started the practice of expressing gratitude the for the good in my life, the heaviness lifted from my heart and mind and body and soul. My path was revealed clearly to me. I continue to use gratitude as a way to get clarity.

Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote for wellness / awesomeness / thrival?

“If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.” – Henry Ford
